Protect Modified Jaw Surfaces

Custom jaw modifications leave exposed surfaces untreated after machining. Optional Black Diamond™ surface treatment is available for modified DynoGrip hard jaws and machinable hard jaws. With this optional enhancement, modified surfaces can receive the same protective treatment found on the rest of the jaw. The Black Diamond surface treatment improves surface hardness, enhances wear resistance, and increases corrosion resistance. When quoting or ordering custom jaws, customers can request the Black Diamond surface treatment on the modified surfaces. Please note that the coating process may increase lead times beyond the standard 10-day lead time for custom jaws.
