Manual DynoGrip vises can be used with automation systems that load the entire vise and workpiece into an automated base, but customers have been interested in more options, specifically using a robot to load a workpiece into an automated, pneumatic self-centering vise.

Introducing DynoGrip Air
DynoGrip Air is Mate’s new pneumatic, self-centering vise, developed to solve the common challenges associated with automated workholding. DynoGrip Air is available in two different configurations: grooved and quick-change.
The grooved version features the industry standard top grooved profile that is compatible with your existing jaw systems while delivering the strongest ACTUAL clamping force and highest repeatability. The proprietary grease dispensing system preserves the best-in-class performance every cycle.
The quick-change version features the same toolless quick-change jaws as the Mate manual DynoGrip vises – eliminating jaw lift and making it particularly useful for OP20 and machinable jaw operations. It doesn’t stop there; the quick-change version also delivers the ACTUAL clamping force and repeatability you expect while featuring the same proprietary grease dispensing system.
