Mate Precision Technologies to Debut DynoGrip Air™ Pneumatic Vises at IMTS 2026

September 3, 2026Minneapolis, MN, September 03, 2026 — Mate Precision Technologies, a global leader in metal forming and metalworking solutions, will unveil its new line of DynoGrip Air™ pneumatic vises at IMTS 2026 in Chicago. DynoGrip Air vises are designed for automated machining and are available as a Grooved or Quick-Change vise with innovative features that reduce set up time, increase efficiency and improve part quality. The clamping force, accuracy, repeatability and parallelism is setting the standard for performance.

Workholding Designed for Automation
The Grooved DynoGrip Air vise has the same groove pattern as comparable vises on the market. This allows companies to use their existing jaw inventory when switching to DynoGrip Air. The Quick-Change DynoGrip Air vise features the same quick-change design and jaws as Mate’s manual vises. These can be changed quickly without needing to engage socket cap screws, greatly reducing set-up times. Both versions work well with standard jaws for Op 10 roughing operations or with soft jaws for Op 20 finishing.
The DynoGrip Air pneumatic vises offer several features that reduce set-up time, increase efficiency and improve part quality. Users can choose interchangeable and reversible S7 tool steel jaws with pentahedral teeth for superior workpiece penetration and holding force. The anti-lift design uses the pusher and jaw to exert downward force on the workpiece. An innovative grease reservoir automatically applies grease to the vise moving components and sustains performance and clamping force. Side and bottom air ports enhance compatibility with machine tool automation. Finally, Mate builds these vises with tool steel construction and applies Black Diamond™ surface treatment on the body, pushers and jaws for maximum life.
Users can choose additional options, such as machinable jaws for greater flexibility, an optional sensor rail to monitor jaw positioning, springs for enhanced clamping force and console plates for zero-point base compatibility.
