Mate is Here to Support Your Essential Manufacturing Needs

  March 26, 2020

To Mate’s Valued Customers,

The situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, but one thing holds true: Mate is here to support your essential manufacturing needs.

As our country responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mate will support our customers as they respond to critical manufacturing needs. During the 9/11 national emergency, for example, Mate responded by quickly manufacturing tooling used to produce reinforced commercial aircraft cockpit doors, a vital transportation system component.

The United States Department of Homeland Security, Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released guidance that identified 16 Critical Infrastructure Segments. Mate is an essential manufacturer that directly supplies 12 of these 16 segments. Many state governments have referenced the CISA guidance to provide direction to their citizens and businesses. Mate has received many letters from our customers indicating that they are a Critical Infrastructure Segment, imploring us to provide the tooling necessary to complete their missions. Mate will remain open and process these critical orders.

Above all, we’re focused on keeping our capable, willing workforce safe and working to meet your needs. Mate has a robust supply chain with multiple points of redundancy. Our business hours are unchanged. Our inventory position is strong. We continue to support our customers with the industry’s best in-field and remote service and support.

If you have any questions, concerns, learn that you need to suspend an order or temporarily close your business, please contact your local Mate representative, call Customer Service at 800-328-4492 or simply email orders@mate.com.

This crisis has brought out the very best in our employees, our business partners and our country.  We’re convinced that we will get through this together. Wishing the highest safety and health for you, your families and your businesses.

Sincerely,

Dean Sundquist
