Algunos materiales m\u00e1s d\u00factiles, como el acero inoxidable, el acero galvanizado o el aluminio, son m\u00e1s propensos a la adhesi\u00f3n. La adhesi\u00f3n est\u00e1 causada por la presi\u00f3n y el calor del proceso de punzonado, que hace que el metal que se est\u00e1 punzonando se adhiera a la punta del punz\u00f3n. Los punzones con adhesi\u00f3n producen piezas inferiores, por lo que es necesario entonces detener la prensa, quitar el punz\u00f3n y limpiarlo con una piedra esmeril fina para poder reanudar el punzonado. Tambi\u00e9n se desgastan m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido.<\/p>\n<p>Otros materiales, como la fibra de vidrio, son m\u00e1s abrasivos y desgastan el punz\u00f3n, a veces muy r\u00e1pidamente. En esos entornos, los punzones deben reemplazarse con mayor frecuencia para mantener el rendimiento y la calidad deseados. Maxima\u2122 es un recubrimiento multicapa de nitruro de titanio-zirconio. Es duro, resistente al desgaste y lubricante. Cuando se aplica a la superficie de los punzones de acero de herramientas de calidad superior de Mate, Maxima\u2122 act\u00faa como una barrera entre el punz\u00f3n y la l\u00e1mina met\u00e1lica. Con su excepcional lubricidad, Maxima\u2122 mejora considerablemente la expulsi\u00f3n al reducir la fricci\u00f3n que se produce durante esta porci\u00f3n del ciclo de punzonado.
