Typical Application
Material thickness up to 0.118(3.00MM). Sheet metal includes a form at or over 90-degrees.
Tool Operation
Typically the upper tool penetrates the lower tool, causing the mechanism to actuate a cam element that folds the sheet metal beyond 90-degrees. As the upper tool retracts the material springback allows the form to achieve 90-degrees. The precise geometry of the components is developed during the design phase, and may include pre-production testing.
