Mate Precision Tooling GmbH Holds Grand Opening At Its New Frankfurt Germany Headquarters

Frankfurt Germany / Anoka, Minnesota: “Our Grand Opening at Mate Precision Tooling’s new European Headquarters was a big success with nearly 200 customers, dealers, OEM partners and dignitaries attending,” reported Frank Baeumler, managing director and vice president of Mate’s new Frankfurt facilities.
Attendees saw demonstrations of Mate’s new Thick Turret Tooling, LongLife™ tooling systems for Trumpf punch presses and Mate’s many product lines that have made it the worldwide tooling leader for CNC turret punch presses.

“Mate’s European goals are to provide more value to end users by helping customers identify opportunities for improvement in their sheet metal fabrication operations,” reported Mr. Baeumler. “Important to these manufacturing initiatives are Mate’s tool designs that reduce labor costs by eliminating secondary operations, while others improve machine uptime.”

Mate’s USA delegation to the Grand Opening included Dean Sundquist, Mate CEO and Kevin Nicholson, Mate president both making presentations about Mate’s European expansion and future direction. Also attending from the USA were Jim Thomas, Vice President of Mate’s international sales and John Galich Mate marketing manager. Dignitaries attending included Hans-Georg Brum, mayor of Oberursel, Germany and Oliver Beil, international affairs and economic development manager of the German state of Hesse. Mate dealers attending came from Western and Eastern Europe and Russia.
Mate’s new Frankfurt facilities are designed to support a three-fold tool manufacturing expansion. The 1500 square meter facilities include Mate’s European administrative offices, complete production facilities and a product training center – all newly designed to improve Mate’s products and services to the European fabricating industry.
